3 Things To Do When You Can't Be Bothered To Put Effort In
Improve your mindset effortlessly.
I work on my mindset every day. I know that for me, this is something I am not willing to neglect because I don’t like how I feel if I let things slide too much.
That doesn’t mean I’m mediating for an hour of writing out hundreds of affirmations every morning. Blimey, I don’t have time for that most days.
But most days I do…
Do a little EFT, even if it’s just a couple of rounds
I say something nice to myself whilst I’m looking in the mirror (when I’m getting ready for the day
I say affirmations and nice, helpful things to myself throughout the day
I use segment intending (it’s an Abraham-Hicks thing) where you set intentions for each segment of your day
I usually spend some time at the end of the day visualizing some area of my life as I intend it to be
This gives you an idea of how mindset works and easily fits into your day.
But today I want to share 3 things I also like to do that take almost no effort at all.
I listen to audiobooks, podcasts, hypnosis audios…
I’ve recently finished Lessons from the Magic Shop by James R. Doty. MD which I highly recommend. It’s been fascinating to hear about manifesting from a Neurosurgeon’s point of view.
I have 2 more of his books to listen to.
And I’m also listening to Let Them by Mel Robbins. I’ve been a fan of Mel’s no-nonsense approach for many years and I’m using this approach in my own life.
I listen to a wide range of podcasts. I choose ones that help me to relax, uplift me or help me to learn something.
I love hypnosis audios. You can find them free online. I personally like to use a company called HYPNOSIS DOWNLOADS. It’s a company I trust and I’ve been using them for years. I can just listen and work on something very specific.
I go for a bath
I let my body and mind relax into the hot water. I let go of anything that’s clouding my mind and quiet everything down.
Taking abreak from the business of life can work wonders.
I sleep
The ultimate way to effortlessly work on my mindset. When I’m tired things go wrong. I overthink. I worry about ridiculaous things. I get snappy with people I love. I doubt myself. None of which are helpful.
So I sleep
And this helps me to keep a positive mindset.
