This week, I’m back to share more tips on one of my favourite subjects. Self-love.
Take a minute to read and really take in the quote below. Because you matter. Self-love isn’t a luxury; it’s the most important thing you can give yourself every single day.

Mirror Affirmations
Make the mirror your best friend. Most of us have a bathroom mirror or a mirror in the bedroom.
Make it a habit to look yourself in the eye and say something wonderful to yourself, about yourself, every time you look in the mirror.
Be deliberate about this.
That could be “I love you. I really love you.”
Or it could be…
“You look really pretty today. Your skin looks really healthy.”
Or…
“You’re so talented. That article you wrote today was awesome. Well done!”
Of course, make what you say make sense to you personally.
Feed yourself positive messages about yourself throughout the day.
Give yourself an easy boost
Years ago, I bought myself a “That was Easy” button. You press it and it says, “That was easy”
I loved it. I found it recently and still love it.
I hit it when I’ve completed something. It's my little well-done message to myself.
But you don’t need one yourself. You can give yourself little well-dones throughout the day.
Try this…
Most of us have natural changes throughout the day. Get up, have breakfast, shower, morning work, break, more work, lunch… You get the idea.
At each change point, say something nice to yourself about yourself that’s related to that period in time.
When you get up and go into the bathroom, look in the mirror and smile. Say “Good morning. You are amazing. Time to get ready because today is going to be a great day.”
Be your own cheerleader.
Imagine all the things you’d love to have said to you and say them to yourself.
If you cook a meal, remember to tell yourself how awesome you are and what a lovely meal you've cooked.
Try these self-love affirmations
I love myself more and more each day
I treat myself with great love and care
I love and accept myself
I love and cherish myself
I am love
I am loved
