Why Gratitude Is A Powerful Law Of Attraction Tool
An easy way to be a match for manifesting the life you want.
Hi, thanks so much for spending some time with me today. I appreciate you.
Today’s newsletter is a little different as I’m sharing an article I wrote a long time ago on my blog HERE. I’ve changed a few things to make it better for the newsletter.
I want to share it here in this ad-free zone for you to enjoy without distractions.
I hope you enjoy it and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Every time you put your attention on gratitude you raise your vibrations and become a vibrational match for attracting more to feel grateful for.
Gratitude is your law of attraction superpower. When you focus your attention on gratitude then you naturally raise your vibrations and become more of a match for attracting the life you want.
No matter what is going on in your life, you can shift your focus to gratitude and raise your vibrations (feel better).
THE LAW OF ATTRACTION AND GRATITUDE
The biggest things that the law of attraction responds to are your feelings and what you focus on.
When you focus your attention on what you already have in your life to be grateful for, you naturally attract more to be grateful for – Like attracts like.
When you focus on the thing you want to attract into your life from a place of gratitude then you will become more and more of a match for attracting this.

HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR GRATITUDE MINDSET
Focus on gratitude as much as you can. Find little pockets of time throughout the day to focus on gratitude.
I recommend that you start your day with gratitude and end your day with gratitude and then as you go about your day, add as much gratitude as you can and not just for the big thing, pay attention to little things too.
Have fun with a 10-thing gratitude blast – Stop what you’re doing and look around you. Note 10 things that you can see, hear, smell, taste or feel. Do this several times throughout the day.
Keep a gratitude journal and write in it daily. I recommend that you make it a rule to write down 3 things or more things specific to that day that you’re grateful for.
Examples: I’m so grateful for the lady who helped me in the shop today when I couldn’t find what I wanted. I’m so grateful for the sales I’ve made today. I’m so grateful that I got to spend time with my sister today.
Keep an ongoing gratitude list, these are those things that you’re always grateful for such as your family, friends, home, car, health…
GRATITUDE AFFIRMATIONS
Using affirmations is a great way to increase your gratitude mindset and I encourage you to fill your mind with these positive messages.
Here are a few examples of gratitude affirmations…
I’m so grateful for the wonderful people in my life
I’m so grateful for my good health
I’m so grateful for my beautiful home
I’m so grateful for my amazing family
I’m so grateful for my 6-figure business…
I’ve written a whole post about using gratitude affirmations and it’s packed with great tips to fill your mind with gratitude – For more suggestions read GRATITUDE AFFIRMATIONS

HOW TO USE A GRATITUDE JOURNAL
Keeping a regular gratitude journal is a wonderful and easy way to help focus your attention on gratitude.
Daily, write down things you’re grateful for. Ideally a minimum of 3 things that are specific to that day. For example, I’m so grateful that I got to spend time with my sister today
You can also write about things that you’re grateful for every day such as family, friends, your home…

HOW DO YOU MANIFEST USING GRATITUDE?
I want to share three simple law of attraction exercises with you to help you manifest using gratitude.
Focus on what you want – Then you can simply say this affirmation statement to the Universe “Dear Universe, I’m so grateful for all of the wonderful things that I already have in my life and I’m so grateful for the (add what you want) that I know is coming into my life very soon,”
Create a gratitude affirmation for the thing you want to manifest – for example, I’m working toward creating a 6-figure business. I’m using this affirmation – I’m happily easily making 6 figures profit a year from my blogging business.
Imagine that you already have what you want – How grateful would you feel? I want you to try to get that feeling now. This feeling will help you to allow what you want.
Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough. – Oprah Winfrey
FILL YOUR MIND WITH GRATITUDE ALL-DAY
When we think about the law of attraction, it’s often in connection with attracting something specific into your life.
Yes, you can definitely use gratitude to raise your vibrations and be a better match for attracting that specific thing you want but I also want you to focus on gratitude for those small everyday things.
The more you can add gratitude to ALL areas of your life the better. The law of attraction is always working in all areas of your life.
I encourage you to create a law of attraction lifestyle where you are consistently becoming more and more of a match for the life you want.
I’ve written a full blog post about how to create a LAW OF ATTRACTION LIFESTYLE and gratitude plays a big part.

Or, you can grab a sheet of paper, set a timer for 1 minute and see how many things you can write down that you’re grateful for in your life.

It's taken time and patience to re-train my lizard-brain (the instinctual part that sees danger at every turn) to focus on gratitude, but I've come a long way. There are still moments when life seems overwhelmingly dismal or stressful, but having practiced my affirmations I can turn to them whenever I get that feeling of fear and shift my attention to an attitude of gratitude. Thank you for your work in spreading these powerful positive mindset strategies, Wendy! I appreciate YOU!
