3 reasons to build a daily gratitude habit.
When you focus on what you’re already grateful for, you affirm that you already have wonderful things that you like in your life.
Whenever you focus on gratitude, you raise your vibrations and experience a positive state of mind. The law of attraction can only give you what you’re a vibrational match for.
When you focus on gratitude, you become a match for attracting even more to be grateful for.
Build this gratitude habit
Start each day with gratitude. Before you even leave your bed, focus on what you’re grateful for today. This is forward focusing. Think about the day you want, and be grateful. For example, I’m so happy and grateful for this wonderful day. Spend some time focusing on the day as you want it.
At the end of each day, focus on what has happened throughout the day that you're grateful for.
And something I also like to do each night is say thank you for a wonderful night's sleep. This sets the intention for what you want.

5 Powerful Gratitude Affirmations To Start Your Day
Whatever’s going on in your life, you can shift your focus to gratitude at any moment.
Gratitude affirmations help set you up for a wonderful day.
I am so grateful for this wonderful new day
I am so happy and grateful that I get to enjoy this new day
I’m so grateful for this calm start to my day
I’m so grateful that I’ve woken up feeling refreshed and ready for a great day
I am so grateful to be alive on this wonderful day
Let me explain a little about the wording I’ve used in the affirmation “I am so happy and grateful that I get to enjoy this new day.”
Not only are we focusing on gratitude, which, as you’ve already learned, will help you attract more to be grateful for.
You also say, “Enjoy this new day”
Right there, early in the morning, you’re sending a powerful message both to the universe and your subconscious mind — Both are incredibly powerful.
You’re setting yourself up to ENJOY the day.
Pretty cool, right?
I love the suggestive power of affirmations.
This affirmation might throw you a little, so let me explain it.
I’m so grateful that I’ve woken up feeling refreshed and ready for a great day
I want you to say this affirmation even if you’ve had a miserable and restless night and feel like you need another 8 hours.
By saying this affirmation, you tell the universe what it is you want. Also, your subconscious mind will start working to ensure this is true for you.
Again, pretty cool stuff.
Now, you’ve got your morning gratitude sorted, don’t stop there. Keep focusing on gratitude whenever you can throughout the day.
Play with gratitude
When I’m out and about, I like to play a game called “I’m Grateful for That.” I created it. You’re welcome xx
I walk around doing whatever I’m doing and try to spot as many things along the way that I’m grateful for.
For example, I might see some birds flying past — “I’m grateful for that.”
Or see some pretty flowers — I’m grateful for that.
A ray of sunshine peeping through the clouds — I’m grateful for that.
Keep a gratitude journal
Create an ongoing gratitude list or keep a gratitude journal that you write in daily.
Here are some tips for what you can write in your gratitude journal.
What are you grateful for today?
Who are you grateful for?
Use your senses. List things that you’re grateful for that you can smell, taste, hear, see and touch in your immediate space
I love all things gratitude and encourage you to do anything you can to increase your focus on it.
