If you want to feel happier, it starts with you. I believe that we need to be deliberate in creating happiness for ourselves and not rely on other people and factors to make us happy.
Of course, other people and experiences do add to our happiness, but we should not rely on them to feel happy in our daily life.

Just to let you know, these affirmations were generated in ChatGPT. It’s a fantastic place to come up with ideas for affirmations. I can’t fault these ones at all, and I’ve been creating affirmations for many, many years.
I would love you to read through these affirmations several times. Say them out loud if possible. More importantly, I want you to really think about each affirmation and deliberately apply these messages in your daily life.
For example, I smile often, and my joy inspires those around me. Is this true? Are you smiling often? Or are you going around with a miserable face?

Gratitude for the happiness you already have
You can focus on the gratitude that you already have and the gratitude you expect to receive.
Whenever something happens and you feel happy, take a moment to anchor that feeling and express gratitude.
For example, I love to see the ducks in our village flying over. It’s a really small thing, but it makes me feel happy.
I enjoy the moment (a pocket of joy in my day), and then I’ll mentally say something like “Thank you.” I could have been inside and missed the experience right at that moment. Thank you, universe, for giving me this experience that I enjoy.
I love focusing on gratitude throughout the day, but especially at the end of the day.
I like to focus on at least 3 things that I’m grateful for, specific to the day.
Sometimes I’ll write these in a journal, or sometimes I’ll do this mentally as I relax for a good night's sleep.
