I don’t consider myself to be a car person. But today, I shed tears as I said goodbye to the best car I’ve ever had.
I bought it second-hand 10 years ago and instantly loved it.
It was quite an old car even when I bought it, and I always knew that I’d keep it until it needed to go to scrap.
I knew that there would come a time when it made no sense to repair it any longer.
That day came last week, and today, I watched my lovely car be driven away on the back of a truck.
I sat in it for the last time and said thank you.
Thank you for being such a great car.
For most of us, our cars play a big part in our lives. They’re important and I spend a lot of time in my car.
So today, I would like to focus on gratitude for the vehicles we drive or, if you don’t drive, public transport, your feet…
Here are some of the affirmations I’m focusing on today.
I’m so grateful for the wonderful car that I have just said goodbye to and the wonderful car that I can now call my own.
I’m safe and protected in my car, as are all those who travel with me and all those around me.
I’m so grateful that I enjoy driving my car
I take good care of my car, and my car takes good care of me
I love and cherish my car
On the basis that everything is energy. I believe offering positive thoughts and feelings to and about my car is important.
Before the car I said goodbye to this morning, I had a car that I hated. I panic-bought it.
The energy I gave to that car was pretty much always low. No surprise that it didn’t respond well, and I constantly had problems with it.
Give your car positive energy through your thoughts and feelings.
I mentally say thank you every time I drive my car.
Thank you. I love you.
This may seem strange, but give this some thought.
I am energy.
My car is energy.
Love is thought to be the highest energy.
It makes perfect sense to me to give thanks and love to my car.
I’m sending out so much love with this message to you and all around the world.
I’m aware that there’s a lot of negativity in the world right now. I choose to put out positive energy and not add to the negativity.
Wendy xx
Thank you, my teacher, for sharing the story that brought tears to my eyes. I often experience the same thing with items that have been with me for a long time and have given me great benefits in happy and sad times. I often hold rituals for that touching farewell.
After all, it is energy that has resonated with our energy and provided positive synergy. May you get a better vehicle that can serve your more complex activities.
Happy greetings.
Oh I really felt the sadness of saying good bye to your car.🥹🥲 I love that you say ‘I love you’ to your car. I do this to my bicycle. And Y’day I said it to my bladder for holding out until I got home! 😅
I love this letter so much.❤️
And if we’re saying ‘I love you’ to things at every opportunity, my sense is that we’re saying it to ourselves too, bc everything is connected.
Ahhh I love you Wendy!💫✨🤓
