4 Things That Help Me Feel Positive Every Day
Many people assume that because I'm a Mindset Coach, I'm super positive all the time. I'm not. In fact, I work on my mindset daily to ensure I stay as positive as possible and don't get overwhelmed.
I chose this picture today because I believe the white wolf is my spirit animal, and it brings me joy and strength. Do you know what your spirit animal is?
I feel my emotions have been tested over the past couple of weeks. My Uncle and Auntie died just a week apart. Housework feels overwhelming, even though there really isn’t that much to do, and I’m sure if I think about I have a long list of things I should be doing.
Instead, I’m right here in my happy place, writing to you with a nice mug of tea and my dog at my side. Everything else can wait a bit longer.
So, today, I thought I would share some of the things I do to keep myself feeling positive. I hope you find them helpful.
4 Things That Help Me Feel Positive Every Day
I work on my mindset every day in the same way as I brush my teeth.
Mindset work isn’t something you do once and then never need to focus on it again. Think little and often throughout the day, every day.
Here are 4 of the things I like to do.
Affirmations
I say affirmations every single day without fail. They’re a huge part of my life. They helped me so much when I felt like my life was falling apart, and I’ve learned how to use them in all areas of my life.
We all have thoughts running through our minds throughout the day, every day, so it makes sense to me to deliberately fill my mind with thoughts that support me, and affirmations are a brilliant way to do this.
Things like…
I am calm and confident
Today is a wonderful day
I can do this
I have what it takes to achieve my goals
If you’d like to find out more about affirmations and how to create your own, read my free HOW TO USE AFFIRMATIONS GUIDE on my blog.
I get up, make my bed and say I love you
Yes, some days getting up is a big achievement. Some days I don’t want to adult anymore. I want to stay under my covers and pretend I have no responsibilities.
But I get up. I make my bed, and I say I love you.
I tell my pets I love them
I tell family members I love them
Most importantly, I take myself off to the bathroom, look at myself in the mirror and tell myself “I love you”
This, even on days where it’s a struggle, is my best start to the day. Things start to feel better.
I focus on gratitude
I think of gratitude as a superpower that we all have. It doesn’t matter what’s going on or how bad things seem, I can shift my attention to what I’m grateful for at any moment, and this shifts my vibrations and the way I feel starts to improve little by little

I do something to move me closer to achieving my goals
As early in the day as possible, I do something to move me closer to achieving my goals.
Writing is a big part of my life, and I have writing and blogging goals all the time. They’re really important to me.
Even on days when I don’t want to do anything, I do something to make progress on my goals.
That might be to open up one of my pre-drafted blog posts and fill in one subheaded section.
Even if that’s all I do that day, I have still achieved something important that matters.
I have lots more things I do to keep me feeling positive. I’ll share more another day.
I hope you enjoyed this read and maybe even found something that will help you stay positive.
Is there something you do every day that helps you?
Wishing you a wonderful day.

Gratitude Guide - EFT, Affirmations, prompts and more
I don’t know what my spirit animal is but a gypsy lady once told me there is a white dog that follows me every. No idea if that’s true but another spiritual lady told me there is a white light attached to me.
I am with you with I love you, gratitude and affirmations. I also meditate every day. 💕
