Okay, the not laying on the sofa eating chocolate bit is most definitely not something I’m ruling out but I am aware that this has been happening way too often recently.
So, I thought I’d share my little win with you.
Last night, early evening, I was feeling tired, which would all too often lead to me taking my place on the sofa and grabbing a bar of chocolate on the way.
Here’s what happened instead.
I did two workouts. Yes, two. Go me.
If you haven’t come across Lucy Whyndham-Read yet on YouTube, I highly recommend that you check her out. I love her workouts so much.
I don’t typically enjoy workouts, but Lucy has a way that works for me.
I did a 7-minute workout and then a 20-minute walking workout.
I drank extra water after.
I felt good about myself.
I felt relaxed afterwards and slept well.
I did allow myself some sofa time but I didn’t feel like I wanted chocolate.
Feeling good this morning
After a good night’s sleep I woke up feeling refreshed, did my visualizing for the day ahead and ran through some affirmations and affirmation.
I’ve also noticed lately that my posture isn’t as good as I’d like. This morning I felt like I was holding myself just that little bit better.
I know this won’t happen every day but on the days I’m working from home or not working, I want to do more workouts. I always feel so much better when I do.
Here are a few of the affirmations and afformations that I used specifically to achieve my happy weight and healthier living.
Affirmations
I feel fantastic
Every day now I’m closer to my happy weight
I enjoy taking care of my body and mind
I love making healthier choices now
I love and cherish my body and mind
Afformation
(Afformations are questions that trick your subconscious mind into believing something is already true).
Why does it feel so great to move my body more?
Why is it so easy now to achieve my happy weight?
Why is it so easy for me to eat mindfully now?
EFT happy weight
I’ve decided to make my daily EFT session super simple and just focus on my happy weight.
Tapping the side of my hand I said “I’m tapping today to release any resistance to achieving my happy weight. My energy flows and my vibrations are high. I’m tapping to feel super positive about my happy weight and healthier living.”
I won’t stick to these set-up words but I wanted to say clearly what I wanted today.
Most days I’ll go straight to the EFT points and say Happy weight. I might add in Healthier living as well.

Top of the head: My happy weight
Forehead: Healthier and happier
Eyebrow: My happy weight
Side of the eye: Healthier and happier
Under the eye: My happy weight
Tip of the nose: Healthier and happier
Under the nose: My happy weight
Under the mouth: Healthier and happier
Collarbone: My happy weight
Side of the hand: Healthier and happier
When I’m doing positive EFT, I love to add in the tip of the nose point. We know this as the miracle point. It always feels really special to me.
I’m aiming to do this or something similar every day.
I do daily EFT already with affirmations for other areas of my life. I’ll tag this on but I also want to focus on being my happy weight and healthier living throughout the day, so when I can I want to do 2 or more EFT rounds a few times a day.
Well, that’s my update. I feel like I’m off to a good start.

I’m not planning on getting on the scales daily, I don’t find this helpful.
