What Are You Saying? Law of Attraction Part 6
What you say to yourself and to other people matters.
Welcome back. We’re onto part 6 of this Law of Attraction series and focusing on things you say.
In part 3 we looked at thoughts and I shared that Affirmation from Mike Dooley where he said “Thoughts Become Things.”
This also applies to the things you say, either silently in your mind or out loud to other people.
I really want you to pay attention to this.
Often when people try to improve their mindset they get quite good at spotting negative/limiting/unhelpful thoughts and using positive affirmations to improve them.
But, then they don’t pay attention to what they say out loud when they’re with other people.
Here’s an example, Julie’s trying to improve her money mindset. She works on saying positive, supportive affirmations to build positive beliefs around money and to feel better about money.
Then her friends come over and the conversation turns to the cost of living crisis and they all have a 10-minute conversation about how expensive everything is and what a struggle it is to make it to the end of the month before the money runs out.
Julie and her friends are vibrating at a level that attracts more struggle and lack.
Here are some tips to help.
Let your friends know that you’re working on improving your mindset and talk to them about things you’ve learned in this law of attraction series so far.
Simply change the conversation to something better feeling
If you don’t feel able to do either of these things, simply remind yourself that this is not your truth and start filling your mind with affirmations that support you.
Your thoughts and the things you say are a reflection of your beliefs. When you are alone, it’s easier to deliberately keep your thoughts positive and supportive.
Pay special attention to what you say to others as this is usually when you are more likely to slip into unhelpful conversations that lower your vibrations.
Here’s part 3 - Your thoughts matter if you want a recap on keeping your thoughts positive.
Aim for Better Feeling Thoughts
When you keep filling your mind with negative, unhelpful thoughts, over time they do impact your life. You’ll find that you’re attracting things to match how you feel.
Negative thoughts create a low emotion and low emotions mean you’re a match for attracting things you don’t want.
So, what do you do?
You aim for better-feeling thoughts. These are thoughts that will feel a little better. Then aim for an even better feeling thought.
Today I want to share some ideas to help you improve your thoughts and share one way that people think will work but rarely does. KEEP READING
