Quick and Easy EFT Tapping Guide.
EFT is a simple tapping technique that works with your energy body. In simple terms, when your energy is high, you feel great and when your energy is low you feel low (down, rubbish, unable to function…)
We tap on Special Meridian points - The EFT tapping points. These are energy hot spots. They’re little doors to your energy.
You tap gently with one or two fingers. If this hurts for any reason, you can gently rub the EFT point.
The Set Up
Version 1: Tap the side of your hand and say why you’re tapping. For example, I’m tapping today to release this stress.
You can also say something like… Even though I’m feeling frustrated and angry right now, I deeply love and accept myself.
Version 2: This is the heart and Soul tapping style. Place both hands on top of each other, palms to chest. Take a few deep breaths and state why you’re tapping.
The EFT Tapping points
Please note that you may see other people use slightly different EFT points. That’s fine. If there’s a point you like but is not included here add it in. For example, sometimes you’ll see me use the tip of the nose point and other times I leave it out.
Top of the head
Forehead
Eyebrow (this is the part above your inner eye)
Side of the eye
Under the eye
Under the nose
Under the mouth
Collarbone
Side of the hand
The set-up followed by tapping several times at each tapping point is one EFT round. Depending on why you’re tapping, I usually suggest 3-5 rounds.
If you’re tapping to release deep-rooted emotions, you may need to tap for up to an hour. Then take a break. You can come back to do more if needed.
What to say at each EFT point?
You don’t have to say anything if you don’t know how to say how you’re feeling. Just focus on the feeling and where you feel it.
In general, we say a simple reminder word or phrase. If you’re tapping to release stress, your reminder words could be… release, this feeling, this stress, or a mix of all of these words.
You can tap and talk. This is where you move through the EFT points as you talk about something. I usually use this to help gain clarity or to release energy from a problem.
I also like to use affirmations. You can focus on one affirmation and repeat it at each EFT point or say different affirmations as you move from point to point
Why use EFT?
EFT is a fantastic technique that can be used for so many things.
Here are just some of the ways we can use EFT.
To release low emotions and build high (positive) emotions.
To release limiting beliefs that block you and to build new beliefs that support you
To release stress, fear, anger, feeling hopeless…
To build confidence, feel empowered, feel happier, feel calm…
To release phobias
To release bad habits (release the emotional attachment to them)
To release emotions from memories
To gain clarity
To raise your vibrations
To generally feel better

You can see how easy it is.

Remember this simple phrase.
Tap out what you don’t want
Tap in what you do want
Founder of EFT Gary Craig said to use it on everything and I agree 100%.
As an EFT Master Practitioner and someone who uses EFT pretty much daily, I can’t tell you that it will work for everything but it’s worth giving it a go.
Positive EFT
When I first heard of EFT, around the late 1990’s, it was mainly being used to help with problems and low emotions.
However, by the time I took my EFT Master Practitioner Training in 2014, we understood that we can go straight to using EFT to feel positive.
Tap in what you want.
I recommend daily EFT to help you feel your best every day.

Can tapping help me trust myself more?
Hi, yes. Say your setup as I'm tapping to trust myself more. Then as you go around the EFT points, say trust or trust myself.
