I heard the other day that gratitude is overrated.
I completely disagree with this.
I believe that every moment spent in gratitude is powerful. Real gratitude, not fake gratitude.
Gratitude is a high-vibrating emotion — When your vibrations are high, you’re a match for attracting positive things into your life.
It’s a high-energy emotion (same things as above) — Your energy is positive and free-flowing. This is really good for you.
Gratitude helps to maintain a positive mindset. When you are grateful for things, you acknowledge the good things about your life, which allows you to enjoy life more and motivates you to do more things that you love, achieve goals, etc.
We all know that the world’s not perfect, we are not perfect, and every day is not perfect, but when you choose to focus on the good stuff, especially the things you’re grateful for, life feels better.
Focus on Gratitude - Be a match for manifesting more to be grateful for.
Gratitude’s a positive emotion, and it’s impossible to feel negative and positive at the same time. We can, however, flit between positive and negative emotions very quickly.
Adding gratitude in a big way to your day-to-day life is one of the best things you can do, mindset-wise, to improve your life and how you feel.
When you feel grateful, you feel better about yourself and your life as it is right now.
You can be having a horrible day and feeling low, but you can still make a deliberate shift to gratitude at any time. It’s powerful.
Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.

I want to share some tips to help you add more gratitude to your day. I’d love you to give them all a try.
Make it a challenge
I don’t want you to count, but make it a challenge to see how many things you can find in your daily life to be grateful.
In my mind, I’m often silently saying “I’m grateful for that” when something nice happens.
When I’ve made myself a nice mug of tea… I’m grateful for that.
When my dog comes to snuggle on the sofa with me… I’m grateful for that.
When I get a message from someone I love… I’m grateful for that.
You get the idea.
Keep a gratitude journal
A traditional gratitude journal is where you would write down things you’re grateful for every day. I did this daily for years, and I still do it now, but I don’t insist on it daily.
Instead, I journal in my mind.
I focus on things specific to the day that I’m grateful for
General things I’m grateful for
And what I’m looking forward to the next day
Finally, I ask the Universe to deliver anything I want
Make an ongoing gratitude list
There are things in my life that I’m always grateful for, such as family, my pets, friends, my business…
I love to read through my list and keep adding to it.
I don’t have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness — it’s right in front of me if I’m paying attention and practicing gratitude.

Do a gratitude blast
Right where you are, look up and mentally list as many things as possible that you’re grateful for.
You have to be able to either…
See it
Hear it
Touch it
Taste it
Smell it
Here’s mine… (I’ll keep it short)
Right now I’m grateful for my dog, my garden, washing drying on the line, my phone, raspberries, my laptop, trees gently swaying in the breeze, my plants, tea, my fan…
