EFT - Think Rationally And Release Stress Talk

Hi, thanks so much for spending time with me today. I was so pleased when a subscriber asked for EFT help to think rationally.
I have to tell you that I’m someone who can very quickly go off into a spiral of irrational thinking.
It’s NOT at all helpful!
EFT tapping really helps with this.
EFT helps to quiet your mind - gain clarity and un-jumble your thinking.
It helps calm you down so that you’re able to focus your mind and think rationally.
The very first thing I want you to do is place both hands, on top of each other over the middle of your chest. This is called the heart-healing position.
In my experience and with other people I work with, this also helps you to feel centred. Not as I describe it being up in the air.
In this position, take a deep breath in. Hold for a few seconds and slowly release. Repeat.
Say what you want. For me, this would be something like… I want to feel calm and focused so that I can think rationally.
Take another deep breath in, hold for a few seconds and slowly release.
We can now move to the EFT tapping points.
Let’s start with releasing any stress-talk. Please don’t be tempted to skip this point.

EFT for Stress Relief – Tapping Script and Tips
Emotional Freedom Techniques – EFT for Stress Relief. If you only ever do EFT, for one thing, do it for stress.
I can’t even begin to tell you how important this is for health, general well-being, and achieving your goals in life.
Stress plays a big part in most people’s life and sadly most people only pay attention to it when the levels are super high and causing big problems.
I want you to deal with stress even when it’s at low levels and especially when it’s at those high levels.
Stress Talk
When you’re stressed you rarely focus on the real issue or at least just the real issue. Most people will add in loads more stress talk problems that are often either not real at all or not really an issue.
When we tap we release stress talk so that we can clearly focus on the real issue. With that in mind, I recommend starting any session where you’re tapping on a problem or anything that is emotionally charged in a negative way with a couple of rounds to relieve stress.
You can simply work through each of the tapping points by saying the word stress. I encourage you at this stage to also take a nice deep breath in and out between the tapping points.
Set up – Whilst tapping the side of your hand say “I release any stress I am holding on to. Repeat 3 times
Tapping points – top of the head, forehead, eyebrow, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, under the mouth, collarbone, side of the hand. Simply say the word stress.
(This is a combination of classic EFT and Heart and Soul EFT – Please use whichever EFT style you prefer).
As an alternative to using the word stress, some people prefer to say “Grounding” to help them gain a sense of feeling grounded.
QUICKFIRE EFT FOR STRESS RELIEF
The beauty of the quickfire sessions is that they are quick and easy to remember, with no complicated wording.
You can pop into the bathroom and do a few rounds if you’re feeling stressed at an event for example. I’ve done this kind of tapping many times sitting in my car before going into a meeting, etc.
It’s also perfect when you need really quick relief. In this quickfire session, I’m going to use 2 different statements only.
I will alternate between “Releasing this stress” and “I’m Calm and Relaxed” you can change the wording as you want. Sometimes you might want to say “I’m Calm and confident…” Use whatever words fit how you want to feel.
Start with clearing the stress and follow up with how you want to feel.
Top of the head – Releasing this stress
Forehead – I’m calm and relaxed
Eyebrow – Releasing this stress
Side of the eye – I’m calm and relaxed
Under the eye – Releasing this stress
Under the nose – I’m calm and relaxed
Under the mouth – Releasing this stress
Collarbone – I’m calm and relaxed
Side of the hand – Releasing this stress
Focus on your breathing whilst tapping and saying your statements. Breathe in calm, and breathe out any stress.
