Today I want to talk about being deliberate in connection with the law of attraction.
Just in case you’re hearing about the law of attraction for the first time, here’s a quick guide - My No-Fluff Law of Attraction Guide.
I think we all have a default setting. For some people this allows them to manifest anything they want with ease.
Most of us including me have to work on ditching the default settings and being deliberate about using the law of attraction.
Some people have never heard of the law of attraction but that doesn’t mean it’s not working for them. It is. It works for everyone all the time.
Some people easily attract the life they want.
Others constantly attract things they don’t want.
It’s all the law of attraction working. It’s responding to what we are a MATCH FOR.
So, if you’re attracting things you don’t want, check in with yourself.
What are my default settings in this area?
How am I being a match for this?
How can I be more deliberate about manifesting what I want instead?
I teach a three-step law of attraction process.
Clarity - Get clear about what you want
Raise your vibrations - Improve the way you feel
ALLOW - Remove blocks like limiting beliefs
I believe that the law of attraction ultimately responds to what’s in your heart - What you truly want at a core level.
But all of these things play a big part too.
Your thoughts
Feelings
Beliefs
The things you say
The things you do
Here’s a really simple example.
If you have a new task to do and your default setting is to go to thoughts and beliefs of “I can’t do that. I’m no good at learning to do new things”
Then that default setting isn’t serving you well. It’s BLOCKING YOU!
So, swap it for a deliberate thought. Build a new belief that says. I’m smart. I can learn new tasks. I can do this!
When you do this the law of attraction works with you to help you manifest completing the task.
A Helping Hand
I like to think of the law of attraction as a powerful helping hand. I see it as teamwork.
I don’t believe in this idea of magically manifesting anything we want.
I believe in teamwork where we take deliberate action to achieve things we want and the Universe provides us with the law of attraction to help manifest what we want.
Here’s an example:

Judy wants to build a successful dog-walking business. She tells the universe she wants this then lays on the sofa watching TV all day and does nothing to deliberately build the business.
Expected outcome: No successful business for Judy. The universe may have created it but it can’t manifest for Judy because she’s not a match for it.
Sarah also wants to build a successful dog-walking business. She lets the universe know what she wants. She focuses her thoughts on a successful business with lovely dogs to walk. She clears any limiting beliefs about her ability to build a successful business and she takes lots of deliberate action such as delivering leaflets about her business to every house in a 3-mile radius, advertising in a local magazine, taking her own dog out for walks in her target area wearing her branded clothing.
Expected outcome: I fully expect Sarah to achieve and manifest a successful business through deliberate teamwork with the law of attraction.
