I hope you’re having a wonderful week. Today I have a special affirmations post for you to enjoy. I originally added this to Medium.
Almost every day before I get out of bed I say to myself “Today is a good day” and “Today is a good day to be me.”
My intention is to get up, show up, and be my best.
That looks different from day to day.
This morning I thought I’d share a few quotes that inspire me and a few affirmations I love to help me have the best day.
Let joy be your compass
I’m so sorry, I don’t know who originally said this but I love it and it’s how I try to live my life.
SWSWSWSW — Some will, some won’t, so what, someone’s waiting
This is a quote by Jack Canfield. The context I first heard it had to do with sales. Some people will want what you’re selling and some won’t. There’s always someone waiting.
But it works in all areas of life too.
Some people will like me and what I have to say, some won’t. That’s okay. Someone’s waiting.
I encourage you to be yourself and the right people will like you, love you and if you’re a writer, want to read what you have to say.
Thoughts become things
I love this quote from Mike Dooley. Now, I will say that I think there’s a little more to this story. Our beliefs and energy also impact what is created in our reality.
However, I believe we can massively impact our lives by deliberately focusing on thoughts that support us and create positive emotions.
That’s why I love affirmations so much. I’ll share some of my favourites with you now.
Affirmations I love to use
I am love — I am loved
I am enough just the way I am
I have the power to create a life I love
I am blessed with a lovely life filled with love and joy
I enjoy good health and wellbeing
I take good care of my body and mind
I love that I have so many wonderful people in my life
I am well
I love and cherish my body
Every day in every way my life gets better and better
My income is constantly increasing
Happiness is natural for me
I deliberately create pockets of joy every day
I don’t sit down with a list of affirmations at the start of the day. Instead, I prefer to fill my mind with them throughout the day.
