Goals: Yearly, Quarterly & Monthly

This newsletter has been updated so that it’s relevant to people reading after the new year.
This is a fairly long newsletter, with it being the start of a new year, a new quarter and a new month. A very exciting time.
A goal is anything you want to achieve
Please note that I’m sharing this post to give you guidance. Setting out my goals in this way has been helpful to keep me focused and stay on track, but please know that this is not the only way to achieve your goals. Do what works for you.
A goal is anything that matters to you that you want to achieve.
Important message
Before I get started, I want to say that my intention with these weekly newsletters is to support you in achieving your goals and release any mindset blocks. I have loads of tips for goal setting, which I will, of course, share with you.
However, they’re guidelines. Take what you find helpful and leave the rest, and if you have a goal-setting system that works for you, go with that.
There is never one way to set goals and achieve them. I’ll be talking more about this over the coming weeks.
The GOAL ZONE is a great place to share your ongoing goals and get support.
Let’s get started.
There’s a fair bit to do, but the key is to keep it simple. Even the biggest goals can stay simple.
Start with your big, long-term goals
Break those down to form your goals for the year, plus add any goals that you can complete this year
Next, take your goals for this year and create quarter goals.
Quarter 1 - January, February, March
Quarter 2 - April, May, June
Quarter 3 - July, August, September
Quarter 4 - October, November, DecemberBreak your quarter goals down even more to form your goals for the month
Create weekly goals if you want to. I prefer to focus on monthly goals with a weekly plan of action.
By the time you’ve gone through all of the above, you should have really clear and measurable goals to focus on.
Mindset
Affirmations. I encourage you to write all of your goals down as affirmations. If your goal is to lose 3 pounds in January. Your affirmation could be… I’m 3 pounds closer to my ideal weight by the end of January (remember to write down what action steps you plan to take to achieve each goal, too)
Visualise daily (most days) your goal as if it’s already complete/achieved

Work on your mindset and ask for guidance
This is SOO important. I don’t want you to get to the end of the month and look at the goals you set, only to find that you haven’t achieved any of them. It’s soul-destroying.
Instead, reach out to me and tell me what’s going on.
It could be that you’ve set unrealistic goals and need to break them down a little.
It could be that you have some limiting beliefs that are blocking you. This can often show up as self-sabotage or procrastination.
It could be all kinds of things connected to your mindset.

What to do now
